Rob Cheney: Hello! You are looking at the blog of Rob Cheney. I'm an illustrator. Just like the logo says. You have caught me at the very beginning of my new career. I was an illustrator a long while back, but I left to do other things. For years. And that story would take up more than 1200 characters all by itself, so for now we'll skip it. The important thing is, I am really excited to be back doing what I believe I do best. I am sort of starting over almost from scratch here, and since I have a family to feed, it's a bit nerve-wracking when I really think about what I've taken on. But I mean to learn from the past and apply it to the future, and, Lord willing, keep this new dream going. Most of this is new to me. I've never blogged before, so you who want to will be able to follow along and chime in if you feel like it. To that end, Job One is to build a whole, new portfolio. I will be posting my progress on my artwork here. I value your feedback. I went to the Columbus College of Art and Design, where I received a BFA in Illustration in 1992. I live in Charlotte, NC.
